Welcome to the St Christopher’s CE Primary School website.

homesideSt Christopher’s is situated in the heart of Temple Cowley in Oxford. We are a 2-form entry primary school, including our own nursery for 3 and 4-year olds. We have nearly 450 children altogether, taught in modern classrooms surrounded by our large field and new Forest School site. We serve our multi-cultural community by providing a creative and exciting curriculum that incorporates cultural and religious diversity; within the context of Christian belief and practice. The core Christian values of Love, Courage and Belonging are at the centre of everything that we do.

We provide the children with stimulating learning experiences that will help them make progress and reach their full academic potential. The school became an Academy on February 1st 2014, with the Diocese of Oxford as its sponsor, as part of the ODST multi-academy trust.

Our school motto is “Learning & Growing Together” and this sums up our aim to ensure every single child leaves our school with the confidence and ambition to succeed.

The website can only give a flavour of our fabulous school so, if you are considering us for your child, I would be delighted to show you around and answer any questions you may have. We occasionally have places in the school for in-year admissions and will happily discuss this with you. As an Academy, we are able to process our own school admissions, so please contact the school directly (apart from Reception September admissions which are centrally allocated through Oxfordshire County Council). Please read our nursery page for information about admissions to the nursery class.
Please contact the school office on 01865 779772 to arrange a convenient time for a visit.
