Routine Homework
We would like to ask parents and carers to support their children when they have home-work. Parents and carers can support their children with their reading by sharing and reading books together for approximately 15 minutes a day (10 minutes a day for the children in the Reception classes).
Book Bags (red or blue, with school logo) are on sale for £5.00 from the Reception or the School Office. We ask that parents and carers ensure that children bring their book bag with them every day to school.
A reading diary is also sent home in the book bag which we ask you to use to record the pages you have shared and read with your child. There will be other times when you child is given home-work to do and in KS2 there is more emphasis on completing written and research activities at home.
