At St Christopher's Primary School, we believe that a healthy, nutritious meal helps children learn, grow and thrive. Our delicious school lunches are freshly prepared on site each day by our dedicated catering team, using locally sourced ingredients wherever possible to provide balanced, wholesome meals that children enjoy.

We cater for a wide range of dietary requirements and ensure every child can enjoy a safe and nutritious meal. Alongside our daily menu, we offer halal, vegetarian and gluten-free options, as well as catering for individual medical and dietary needs. If your child has any specific dietary requirements or food allergies, please speak to the school office so we can work with you to meet their needs.

St Christopher's is a nut-free school and follows a Safer Eating Policy to help protect children. We ask all families to support us by ensuring that no nuts or nut-containing products are brought into school.

Free School Meals

All children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 are entitled to a Universal Infant Free School Meal.

Children who are eligible for Pupil Premium are also entitled to receive free school meals throughout their time at primary school, regardless of their year group. If you think your child may be eligible, please contact the school office—we are happy to help you with the application process.

Booking and Payment

School meals should be booked in advance using the My Child At School (MyChildAtSchool - MCAS) app. For families who pay for school meals, payments can also be made securely through the app. School lunches are £2.40.

Packed Lunches

Children are very welcome to bring a healthy packed lunch from home. We encourage nutritious choices and kindly ask that packed lunches do not contain chocolate or sweets, helping us to promote healthy eating habits across the school. Please also remember that, as a nut-free school, packed lunches must not contain any nut products.
